Ingredients

2Onion, diced
8Garlic, minced
4Carrots, sliced
3 canBeans (kidney, pinto, etc)
packageBacon
8 cupBroth
4 cupTomatoes, chopped
4 tbspOregano
2 tbspRosemary
tasteRed Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  1. In large pot cook Bacon until crispy, remove from pan and set aside
  2. Using Bacon grease saute Onion and Carrots until tender. Add Garlic and Red Pepper Flakes
  3. Add Beans, Broth, Tomatoes, Oregano, Rosemary, and crumble Bacon into pot
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce and simmer for at least one hour
