Lone Tree Sunset

We had rain all afternoon and an hour before our start time we gave up and headed out for dinner. While sitting on a restaurant patio we watched the clouds sweep over us heading north taking the rain with them and the sun bursting out behind. A quick drive home to grab the camera gear and heading out to the spot I had chosen led to a stack of photos, a slightly bored wife, and a bunch of dramatic photos like this one.
